Mobile-equipment Digital Twins

Hybrid and multi-physics models of engines, LHDs and conveyances for performance monitoring, predictive maintenance and safer operation.

RAMMS combines physics-based and data-driven models to describe mobile mining equipment with enough fidelity to support a decision. The portfolio includes a hybrid diesel-engine model, a battery LHD digital twin, shaft-conveyance dynamics and a general framework for mining digital twins.

These models are designed as building blocks. Engine, brake, suspension, terrain and vehicle models can be connected to examine performance or safety scenarios without requiring every quantity to be measured directly.
